The park utilizes an area of 1140 acres of wild and beautiful scenery in Salangsdalen in Bardu. These natural surroundings are the perfect setting for your visit to the Polar Park. Their biggest attraction is the Wolf Camp, where you have the availability to join in the enclosure to meet the mythical and legendary wolves up close.
Polar Park is more than a traditional zoo. They place great emphasis on animal welfare. They give the animals large areas to create an atmosphere that is as natural as possible for the animals.

By having large natural enclosures, the animals get to stimulate their need for activity.
The Polar park’s main goal is to create a Scandinavian wilderness experience with the beautiful surroundings, that still is quite natural for the animals.

Breakfast at Fjellkysten. Optional Activity; rent snowshoes, a kickslede og a Sledge and explore the beautiful surroundins at Fjellkysten.
